Beth has an extensive and global background in finance, spanning numerous CFO roles in family offices, high-growth start-ups and scale-ups, alongside various strategic & financial consulting positions. She started her career at Mazars LLP, working with a wide range of clients across audit, consulting and advisory service lines.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Mathematics, she is a chartered accountant (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Beth is a director in the GSB Capital Markets Team, and her primary focus is to develop the companies Alternative Investment proposition, including overseeing GSB’s “FutureOf” Fund.

What is your favourite thing about working for GSB?
The people and the collective goal sharing. Everyone at GSB is clearly driven by the same goals and ethics, which makes it a fantastic place to work.
When did you move to Dubai?
I moved to Dubai in April 2023 – straight into the summer months.
What is your favourite country you’ve visited?
Thailand 100% – It has the most diverse landscapes, amazing food and the kindest people. It has become a bit of a second home for me. I have visited 15+ times as my in-laws live there, and my husband grew up and went to school there, too.
What was your first job?
My first job was aged 14, working for Matalan at Robin Park in Wigan. I very much enjoyed the financial freedom it gave me (even if my parents did have to drive me to and from my shifts).
What did you want to be when you were younger?
In my early years I always wanted to be a Vet, and I was constantly performing “operations” on my animal soft toys. However, I quickly grew out of that dream when I realised it required 7 years+ at university…
