GSB works with many private banks and institutions to provide banking, investment and credit solutions for high-net-worth (HNW) clients. The Managing Partner, Head of UK Operations, will oversee the UK-based operations of the Company — working closely with all leadership team members to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the Company’s long-term objectives.


Business Unit Focused

  • Understanding and developing the Company’s portfolio of client offerings, with a specific focus on those of the UK Operations;
  • Seeking opportunities for UK Operation’s growth through the development of an appropriate network of introducer relationships;
  • Undertaking responsibility for the performance of the UK Operations and achieving targets set out whilst ensuring all KYC, AML, and other Compliance screenings are adhered to, to the highest standard to ensure quality and compliant onboarding and ongoing monitoring of client relationships;
  • Liaising with outsourced compliance consultancy to ensure all regulatory requirements are met;
  • Attending monthly Company Leadership Team meetings;
  • Supervision of employees within the UK Operations;
  • Mentoring of Partners and Associate Partners within the Company.

Client Focused

  • Sourcing, managing and developing a portfolio of HNW clients (value over £50m+)
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client goals and risk tolerance ensures that financial strategies are appropriate.


  • CISI Level IV as a minimum;
  • Ideally, CFP or CWM qualified;
  • Strong IT Literacy, including Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of FE Analytics, Wealthcraft, Cashcalc and other planning tools is an advantage but not mandatory.

Experience and skill requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience of working under FCA regulation mandatory;
  • Leadership and entrepreneurial skills;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

  • Company culture;
  • Company structure and internal stakeholders;
  • Company business systems and operations (e.g., IT, HR, database reporting).
