About
Nigel brings over 25 years of banking and wealth management experience to the GSB Group, including ten years in Senior Executive roles in compliance, training, sales and management in UK banks. He brings further substantial expertise in building International IFA businesses in the USA, Europe, MENA and Asia. He has a successful track record of implementing business plans in large, established organisations and start-ups.
As part of the leadership and senior executive team, Nigel will focus on developing GSB’s retail offerings, including overseeing global expansion into new territories to expand GSB’s impact to pioneer change on a global scale to improve our proposition to retain and attract both clients and talent.
Born in Oxfordshire, UK, married to German wife Nicole, whose passion and job is healing horses and people through being a Reiki Master and other energy treatments—proud father of Eloise, who is completing her degree in the UK police force.

What did you want to be when you were younger?
A footballer or a fireman like my father.
What was your first job?
My first job was calculating hair density for a wig-making company before losing my hair and finding my career in Banking and Wealth Management with HSBC, HBOS in the UK and IFAs Internationally.
When did you move to Dubai?
In 2001, there were roundabouts and camels on the Sheikh Zayed Road.
What is your favourite thing about working for GSB?

UAE, for business, with its entrepreneurial energy and can-do attitude, provides the opportunity for all to succeed. Mauritius for pleasure with its lush green mountains, powder-white sand and clear ocean.
